Choosing your program

Which CrossFit BC program is right for me?
Most people start with our signature CrossFit group classes, the broadest, most-coached option. If you're training for a race, go HYROX. Want coached strength and longevity after 60? Living Legends. Need 1:1 attention or rebuilding from injury? Personal training. Not sure? Take the 60-second finder at /which-membership or just try 3 free classes at /free-trial and we'll point you the right way.
Do I need experience before joining a program?
No. You don't need to be fit or have any background. Every class is coached and every movement is scaled to your level. New members start with /foundations, a short on-ramp that teaches the core movements safely before you join group classes.
What's the difference between CrossFit and HYROX?
CrossFit is constantly varied functional fitness, building broad, all-round capability. HYROX is a specific race format (running plus eight functional stations) that you can train for and compete in. Many of our members do both. We're an official HYROX Training Club, so you can race-prep here too. See /programs/crossfit and /programs/hyrox.
Do I need Foundations to start?
Yes, and it's a good thing. Foundations is a premium on-ramp that gets you confident and safe with the movements so you actually enjoy your first group classes instead of feeling lost. Learn more at /foundations.
Can I switch programs or train across a few?
Absolutely. Your membership is about coaching, not a single class type. Plenty of members mix CrossFit, HYROX, and open gym in the same week. Compare them side by side at /compare-programs.
Where are classes held?
All classes run from our gym at 278 East 1st Avenue in Olympic Village / Mount Pleasant, Vancouver, a 5-minute walk from the Olympic Village SkyTrain and steps from False Creek and Main Street. See live times at /schedule.

Included with your membership

Your membership covers more than the class you booked. Cardio Club on Sundays and Mobility through the week are bonus classes, on top of whatever you normally train. Open Gym is there whenever the floor is open.

Nothing extra to buy, nothing extra to book. On a class pack it works the same way, a Mobility class or an Open Gym visit spends one credit, the same as any other class.

Training for a race? The Engine Room is a 12-week membership built around it, 5+ coached sessions a week.
