What to expect

The easiest way to meet
our community.

No commitment. No pressure. No fitness test. Show up Sunday at 7:30am and you'll leave with a few new run buddies and a great cup of coffee.

Scenic Vancouver routes

We rotate through Olympic Village, the seawall, False Creek, and Mount Pleasant. A new route most weeks, never the same loop twice in a row.

All paces. Nobody dropped.

Pace groups for 5-min/km speedsters and 8-min/km social runners. Walk-runners welcome. You will not be the slowest, and if you are, we love you for showing up.

Coffee + crew after

We wind down at one of our favourite Olympic Village cafés. The run is the warm-up. Sunday morning conversation is the main event.

We show up

Sun Run. Seawall.
Sunday after Sunday.

Cardio Club isn't a marketing photo. It's a regular Sunday for dozens of CFBC humans, and it gets bigger every spring race season.

Sundays are not serious.

Every spring we run the Vancouver Sun Run 10K as a CFBC team. All abilities. Pink or purple shirt, your call.

A Sunday in the life

From 7:25am to coffee in your hand.

7:25am

Roll into the gym

Hoodie on, shoes laced. We hang in the front of the gym, no awkward standing-around energy.

7:30am

Pace groups + route brief

A coach calls out the loop, splits us into pace groups, and we head out together.

7:35am

5K or 10K on Vancouver's best stretch

Seawall, False Creek, the Cambie bridge loop. A new route most weeks.

8:20am

Coffee + community

We pile into a local café. Stay for one cup or stay for three. No pressure.

Before you arrive

Bring your shoes.
We will handle the rest.

Meet at CrossFit BC in Olympic Village a few minutes before 7:30am. The route and pace groups are explained before everyone heads out.

What to bring

Running shoes, water, and layers that suit Vancouver weather. Walk-runners and first-timers are welcome.

Parking

Use one of the five free CFBC stalls in the adjacent lot, or free two-hour street parking nearby. An e-bike stand is outside the gym.

Transit and cycling

Olympic Village Station is a short walk away. The Ontario Street bike route and False Creek paths make the gym easy to reach by bike or on foot.

Cardio Club FAQ

The honest questions.

What happened to the Run Club?

Same session, better name. It is now Cardio Club, because it was never only running. Sundays 7:30am, still free, still open to everyone, still coffee after.

Do I need a membership for Cardio Club?

No. Cardio Club is free and open to everyone, members, non-members, visitors and first timers. Book it on Wodify or ClassPass if you want a spot held, or just turn up.

What pace do I need to be?

Any. We split into pace groups so newer runners and seasoned racers both get the run they came for. If you can walk, you can come, many people walk-run their first few weeks.

What should I bring?

Running shoes, layers for Vancouver weather, and water if you want it. We meet at the gym at 7:30am sharp. Coffee after is on you (and worth it).

See you Sunday
at 7:30am.

Free for everyone. ClassPass-bookable. No membership needed. Just show up.

Add it to your calendar. Sunday is sacred.

Sunday Cardio Club fits a bigger picture

Train. Belong. Thrive.

Cardio Club is the open door. Here is what the rest of CrossFit BC looks like when you are ready for more.

Train.

Build the engine, not just the miles.

Strength, HYROX, and structured run progression turn a casual runner into one that finishes the season healthy.

  • 19+ weekly HYROX classes, four of which are 90-minute SIM-ilar (HX90) sessions
  • Strength and conditioning that supports the run
  • Personal training for gait, mobility, and injury work

Belong.

The same faces, Sunday after Sunday.

Free, coffee after, no drop-in fee. The room that knows your name extends past the Seawall and into every class at the gym.

  • Free Sunday Cardio Club, no membership required
  • Friday Night Lights, Buddy Day, member socials
  • Race-day crews for Sun Run, BMO, and HYROX events

Thrive.

Recover so you can keep showing up.

Sleep, nutrition, and recovery are the parts most runners skip. The 30-Day Lifestyle Reset and Mobility for Real Life close the loop.

  • 30-Day Lifestyle Reset for nutrition and sleep
  • Mobility for Real Life for tight hips and stiff calves
  • Recovery check-ins with a coach

Included with your membership

Your membership covers more than the class you booked. Cardio Club on Sundays and Mobility through the week are bonus classes, on top of whatever you normally train. Open Gym is there whenever the floor is open.

Nothing extra to buy, nothing extra to book. On a class pack it works the same way, a Mobility class or an Open Gym visit spends one credit, the same as any other class.

Training for a race? The Engine Room is a 12-week membership built around it, 5+ coached sessions a week.

Free guides

The 8-week HYROX Roadmap teaches structured run progression. The 14-day Sleep Reset covers the recovery side most runners skip.
