Coaching Style

How Jeremy coaches

High energy, detail-oriented, and motivating. Jeremy loves helping athletes find those small technical corrections that lead to big improvements.

Outside the Gym

When Jeremy isn't coaching

Jeremy played competitive roller derby for almost 15 years, works in film and television as an illustrator and storyboard artist, and was a national champion on the 3-meter springboard at ages 11 and 12.

The Honest Version

What Jeremy got wrong, and how Jeremy coaches now

What I used to get wrong

"Fifteen years of competitive roller derby taught me that high energy is not a substitute for technical detail. The athletes who lasted were the ones who fixed the small stuff."

How I coach now

I coach the small stuff out loud. Foot position, bar path, breath: the corrections that look invisible but unlock the next 10% of an athlete's lift.
