What to Expect in Your First CrossFit Class in Vancouver (Step by Step)

You'll be greeted by name, taken through a warm-up, learn the movements for the day (all scaled to your ability), complete a coached workout (typically 10-20 minutes), and cool down with stretching. The full session is about 60 minutes.
Comfortable athletic clothing (t-shirt, shorts or leggings) and athletic shoes. Flat-soled shoes like Converse or cross-trainers are ideal, but running shoes work fine. Bring a water bottle and towel. No special equipment is needed.
Yes. Every workout is scaled to your ability by your coach. You go at your own pace, and movements are modified in real time. Nobody expects you to keep up with experienced athletes on your first day.
