Common questions

Where is the HYROX run club in Vancouver?

Our HYROX run club meets weekly at CrossFit BC, 278 East 1st Avenue in Mount Pleasant, Vancouver. Sessions include a mobility primer, race-pace pace groups, and showers afterward. Members and non-members are welcome.

How much running should HYROX athletes do per week?

In race-specific block, 25–35 km per week split across one long Zone 2 run, one race-pace interval session, one brick session combining running with stations, and one short shakeout or rest day.

What is the best HYROX running pace to train at?

Train at your goal HYROX run pace — for most age-group athletes that is between 5:00 and 6:00 per km. Pair race-pace 1km repeats with brick sessions that simulate running on fatigued legs after sled or sandbag work.
