Common questions

Should I pace AMRAPs differently than for-time workouts?

Yes. AMRAPs reward consistent pace per round. For-time workouts reward holding back round 1 and finishing strong.

How do I know my sustainable pace?

Test it. Pick a 5-minute benchmark like Cindy, hold a pace, and see if your last minute matches your first. If it doesn't, you went too fast.

Is pacing the same as scaling?

No. Scaling matches the workout to your fitness. Pacing matches your effort to the workout's duration. You need both.
