What you need: 2 cups Full-fat cottage cheese, 1 scoop Chocolate protein powder, 3 tbsp Dutch process cocoa powder, 2 tbsp Cream cheese, 3 tbsp Maple syrup, 1 tsp Vanilla extract, 1 pinch Sea salt, 1 cup Brownie, 2 tbsp Dark chocolate chips.

How it comes together: Cut the brownie into 1cm cubes, spread them on a plate and freeze for at least 20 minutes before you start the base. Blend the cottage cheese, protein powder, cocoa, cream cheese, maple syrup, vanilla and salt on high for 90 seconds until glossy and completely smooth. Taste the base. Cocoa strength varies by brand, so add a tablespoon more syrup only if it is genuinely bitter rather than just less sweet than you expected.

This recipe comes from the CFBC Test Kitchen, where our coaches cook the meals we actually recommend to members training five to seven days a week. Every recipe lists real ingredients, real timings, and the protein and calorie numbers we use when we build nutrition plans in Olympic Village.
