How does HYROX registration work: Charity, Lite Flex, and Flex tickets explained?

HYROX opens each race in ticket waves. Charity tickets support a partner cause and unlock earlier access. Lite Flex is a lower-priced ticket you cannot transfer or refund. Flex is the standard ticket that lets you change division, wave, or defer under HYROX's rules. Availability and price vary by city and date.

This is a direct answer from the CrossFit BC coaching team. Short version first, then the detail and the local context for training in Vancouver. If you want the same answer applied to your own situation, a coach will walk through it with you in person.

Common questions

Can I refund a HYROX ticket?

No. HYROX tickets are non-refundable across all ticket types. Flex tickets allow changes (division, wave, and sometimes deferral) under HYROX's stated rules, but not a cash refund.

Can I transfer my HYROX ticket to someone else?

Only Flex tickets allow transfers, and only within HYROX's rules and deadlines for that specific race. Lite Flex tickets are locked to the original buyer.

When do HYROX tickets go on sale?

HYROX opens tickets in waves per city, usually starting with Charity, then Early Bird / Lite Flex, then Flex, and price increases as the race fills. Sign up to the race's mailing list on hyrox.com to catch the exact drop time.
