CrossFit BC has coached Vancouver since 2008, first in Yaletown and, since 2019, from 278 East 1st Avenue in Olympic Village. We run CrossFit, HYROX race prep, Olympic weightlifting, gymnastics, and one-on-one coaching seven days a week, with every session scaled to the person doing it.

There is no full-service CrossFit gym inside Strathcona itself. CrossFit BC, the closest option, is at 278 East 1st Avenue in Olympic Village, a 7-minute drive or 10-minute bike ride south on the Quebec or Union Street greenway. We are also one of Vancouver's official HYROX Training Clubs.

How long does it take to get from Strathcona to CrossFit BC?

Roughly 7 minutes by car off-peak, 10 to 12 minutes by bike on the protected Union Street and Quebec Street greenways, or 20 minutes by transit. Most Strathcona members bike, flat the entire way, ends with a built-in warm-up.

Where do I park if I drive in from Strathcona?

Five free stalls marked CFBC in the lot next to the gym, plus free 2-hour street parking on East 1st Avenue and the surrounding blocks. Most members park within a block of the front door.
