Dear members,

We are extremely excited and relieved to tell you that we will be open on Monday, November 9th at 5:30am!!

Based on the new restrictions placed on gyms by the Provincial Health Officer, Dr. Bonnie Henry, we have made some changes to our safe measures/protocols. These take effect immediately.

All group fitness classes will be cancelled for the next 2 weeks. That being said, we are still offering the same schedule as “Open Gym” sessions.

Coaches will be there for assistance and suggestions, but will not be running an official workout. You are welcome to come with your own programming, otherwise we will have additional workout suggestions per day/week. You will be responsible for warming yourself up for your workout and managing your time. (IE bring your own clock or use your phone for a timer).

BOOKING & TRAINING PROTOCOLS:

-Bookings must be reserved in advance. There will be no walk-ins.

-Each training time slot will be 50 minutes, so please manage your time accordingly.

– Please arrive on time, not early.

Enter only when permitted by staff.

Staff will ask whether you have any COVID-19 symptoms or if you have been near anyone that does. They will then take your temperature.

-You are required to wear a mask outside the gym entrance, entering the gym, getting your temperature checked by staff and moving to your grid. Then again when exiting your grid and exiting the gym.

-Sanitize your hands upon entering the gym.

-Staff will assign you to a grid

-You will need to keep your workout and your equipment within your grid. All personal belongings must be kept with you at all times.

-You are NOT permitted to cross over other grids. Pick the appropriate grid for your workout that day and ask a coach for assistance before getting equipment.

– If you require chalk for your workout, either bring your own or it’s available for purchase at the front desk. We ask that you do not share it.

We are very lucky that our doors can remain open and we will continue to be in contact with Vancouver Coastal Health to ensure our interpretation of the latest order is accurate and update the membership as needed.

Again, if you have any cold or flu symptoms, or have come in contact with anyone who has a positive COVID test, STAY HOME!
