1. When did you join CrossFit BC?
I joined CFBC in July 2016

2. Why did you choose CrossFit?
I grew up playing competitive soccer and when I moved to Vancouver I picked up it again but realized I wasn’t as passionate about it as I once was. I didn’t really enjoy going to traditional gyms and walking around and having to wait on other people to finish with the equipment/machine didn’t really interest me. An old co-worker finally convinced me to come try a Saturday WOD and I was hooked! I love the variety that each day brings and everything is programmed for you so there’s wandering around anymore.

3. What changes in your health, physique and overall performance have you seen since starting CrossFit?
I’ve noticed a huge differences in my overall well-being since starting CrossFit. This is going to sound lame but even doing simple tasks such as carrying groceries, putting heavy stacks of dishes away I no longer feel like I’m going to drop everything. Also, when the cashier asks you if weight is an issue for grocery bags and you say no, you feel like a badass.😎

4. What advice would you give to someone with regards to starting CrossFit?< f you're at all curious, give it a try. Everyone at CFBC is really supportive, the coaches are always there if you need extra assistance, and I can honestly say it's one of the nicest boxes I have ever been to. The #fitfam is real here. 5. What is your favourite CrossFit exercise?< would have to say anything to do with squats really. I also enjoy pull ups now that I can do them unassisted! 6. What is your favourite activity outside of CrossFit?< really enjoy photography so I'll walk around and take pictures (when it's not raining of course!). I also really enjoy cooking. 7. What is your proudest accomplishment at CrossFit?< finally got a strict pull-up, and there's something just really satisfying about doing one after relying on bands for probably a bit too long. 8. Have you made any changes to your diet?< n August I decided that I was going to get help with my nutrition and after seeing some people in the gym and the difference in their performance I decided to join PowerUp Nutrition. It was the best decision ever, I have so much more energy and I feel a lot more confident now. 9. Is there something that people would be surprised to know about you?< oring: I have my Level 1 Precision Nutrition certificate and I am currently pursuing a Personal Training certificate.< un: I can also talk with my mouth closed and I have 2 Bengal cats. 10. What/who inspires you the most?< veryone in the CrossFit community it's super cheesy but it's inspirational/motivating to see videos or pictures of people that I know doing things that they probably never imagined that they could do.< /p>
